Autumn

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this time of year. The weather in Portland is so perfect during September and October. I love all of the beautiful colors, and moderate temperature but still with a bit of chill, prepping my wardrobe with new boots, scarves, hats and gloves. I made some ridiculously yummy pumpkin bread the other day (it was better than Starbucks' bread)! I like Halloween and dressing up for parties. I like the beautiful decorations that follow November for Christmas. I like being able to ski and play in the snow. BUT, by January and through April I'm ready to get the heck out of Oregon!! It's funny ...my animals match the next three Holidays: Maggie (pure black) is Halloween, Maven (golden) is Thanksgiving and Ms. Kitty (all white) is Christmas.
